Goldfish Swim School is hosting an upcoming Safety Day, which is being held on May 16 in conjunction with National Water Safety Month!

The Details:

What: Safety Day

This free community event will feature a free family swim and children will learn water safety skills hands-on at the event’s in-pool skill stations where they can practice treading water, boat safety and learn what to do when a swimmer needs to be saved. Attendees can also meet Olympic swimmer and Gold Medalist Diana Munz (whose daughters are Goldfish students) between 3 – 4 p.m.

Place: Goldfish Swim School (4670 Richmond Rd., Suite 100, Warrensville Hts.)

Date: Saturday, May 16, 2015

Time: 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Safety Day will be held in two sessions to accommodate participants in the pool.

Session I: 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Session II: 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Agenda: This year’s Safety Day features:

• Olympic swimmer & Gold Medalist Diana Munz (3:00 – 4:00 p.m.)

• In-pool water safety stations

• Free Family Swim

• Life jacket fittings by the U.S. Coast Guard

• CPR education station

• Water safety games & prizes

• Appearance by “Bubbles” the Goldfish mascot

• Face painting and crafts

• Appearance by University Hospitals Rainbow Safety Squad

• “Hydration Station” with free refreshments

• And more!
