Staying home for Spring Break this year. Looking for some fun things for you and the kids to do during Spring Break. There are lots of fun ways to stay busy in Cleveland this year. Check out 10 fun things to do for Spring Break in Cleveland.

1. Take a trip to and indoor water park Sandusky’s Kalahari Resort Castaway Bay, Great Wolf Lodge and Maui Sands are all great places to take the kids during Spring Break in Cleveland. Most of these resorts have Spring Break specials going on too.

2. Visit a Science Center. Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland and Cosi in Columbus are awesome! We took a trip to Cosi last year during Spring Break and I honestly think that is one of my favorite places to take the kids. I just think there is so much fun stuff to do there. It’s really an amazing place.

On Saturday April 6, 2013 at the GLSC there is free youth admission (12 and under). Explore MARS for free! Celebrate the opening of new NASA Glenn Visitor Center at the Great Lakes Science Center with free youth admission (up to 12 years) on Saturday, April 6. The day-long event special guests, hands-on activities and giveaways will highlight the new NASA Glenn Visitor Center where visitors can climb a Martian landscape, steer a robotic rover, build a spaceport of the future include special guests, hands-on activities and giveaways.

3. Take the kids to Cleveland Metropark’s Zoo Spring Break Camps. Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will be offering two sessions of Spring Break Camp for children ages 5-12. They offer full day and half day programs. Programs will based out of the Jungle Lab classroom located in The RainForest. Programs are fun, interactive, and educational!

4. Take the kids to The Cleveland Museum of Art’s Gallery One. This innovative gallery blends art, technology, and interpretation to inspire you to explore the museum’s permanent collection. Gallery One offers something for everyone – from those who are having their first art museum experience to frequent visitors.

5. Visit the IX-Center’s Indoor Amusement Park. Going on March 22, 2013 – April 14, 2013. Lots of rides, concerts, food, games and fun!

6. Lake Farm Metroparks Visitors to Lake Metroparks Farmpark may try their hand at milking our dairy cows, learn how cheese is made and meet dozens of breeds of livestock. On weekends and during special events you may help make ice cream the old-fashioned way!

7. Visit the Cleveland Botanical Garden. Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Big Spring Show open March 23 – April 28. This supersized indoor and outdoor springtime celebration features 30,000 brilliant flowers and larger-than life ladybugs, flowers and garden tools. Themed in the spirit of Alice in Wonderland tale, kids can join in an imaginative tea party, explore an indoor garden hedge maze and dress up like bugs and perform in the toadstool theater.

8. Take a trip to an arcade. There is Chuck e Cheese and Dave and Busters in Cleveland. Take the kids for a day out to play some video games and pizza.

9. The Children’s Museum. Not visiting the sand this Spring Break. Well maybe you are! The Children’s Museum has the Sandasaurus Sands Exhibit going on now through April 7, 2013. This is a giant room filled with sand where children can dig and explore.

10. Visit the Greater Cleveland Aquarium and go on a Shark hunt. They have special events going on Easter Weekend as well.
