Disney at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

We loved our Disney experience and really enjoyed our stay at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek.

This is the only place we have ever stayed in Orlando, but it was so convenient and fun for our first Disney trip with our daughter. We did not even have to rent a car and the shuttle took us to Disney World and Disney Springs/Downtown Disney.

We had the best of both worlds by staying here because it was the relaxing family fun we needed with the pools, restaurants and spas without having to leave the property to balance out the fun chaos of being at the park.

What can I say? Disney is absolutely Magical. It brings out the kid in all of us.

We went to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

My best friend surprised my daughter with Minnie Mouse ears, which is a MUST for the park! I highly recommend buying them before you get there, otherwise they are upwards of $30 to get the same exact ears, and of course you HAVE to have them. Don’t even think that there might be a chance you don’t want them when you get there. EVERYONE has on Disney swag!

We bought our daughter a Minnie Mouse necklace from Target and presented it to her on the morning that we were going to Magical Kingdom. Not sure how much she’ll remember at age 5, but at least we have pictures of every moment to prove we were there. And we’re definitely going back some time.

We loved seeing the Frozen Singalong. My daughter could not believe seeing Elsa and Anna right before her eyes!

It was so fun riding on Dumbo’s ears with my daughter and spinning in the infamous tea cups together.

It brought me back to when I was a kid.

It’s a Small World was so fun, too. It’s amazing all of the details that go into that show.

My daughter met Belle, and that was such a highlight of the day. The “real Belle” was just as gorgeous as the one in the movies and stayed in character the entire time to make it a wonderful experience for the kids.

At the end of the day, she was exhausted from all of the fun and fell right to sleep…almost at the dinner table!

We went in the beginning of December, which is a great time of year to go if you can get your kids out of school. It’s not too hot or crowded compared to the peak season.
