Kid Halloween Party Ideas

kid halloween party - momfabfun

Halloween is coming soon, and so are all the Halloween parties! Halloween is a great time to throw a kids party, or maybe you are planning a Halloween party at your child’s school. There are a lot of great activities to include in your child’s Halloween party. Here are a few of our favorite:

• Create a goodie bag! Fill it with candy, or vampire teeth, spider rings, and fake tattoos.

• Create natural bird feeders by using birdseed attached to pinecones with peanut butter (or sunflower butter for allergies) and attached with string.

• Tattoo station. Set up a tattoo station with Halloween themed tattoos. Let the children pick one tattoo and get tatted.

• The gross out game. Spaghetti brains! Grape eye balls! Jell-O! Fill separate bowls with prepared Jell-O or pudding, peeled grapes, cold spaghetti, and anything else you can think of that feels slimy and gross. Cover each bowl with black and orange felt so nobody can peek inside, and have everyone try to guess what it is they’re touching.

• Make apple stamps by cutting apples in half and letting children dip the apples in Halloween-colored paint and stamping paper.

• Create a ball toss by asking children to throw a ball into a Jack O’ Lantern’s mouth.

• Painting Pumpins. Everyone loves this. Paint pumpkins. Use water based paint for easy clean up!

• Mummy station. Have a station with toilet paper and have two teams. Give each a roll of toilet paper, white crepe paper, or fabric. At the sound of the music, one team member must wrap the other from head to toe. Once completely wrapped, the “mummy” must run to cross the finish line before the others.

• Craft station. Halloween is great time for crafting. Set up a craft table with a few fun crafts.

• Donut eating race! This is my favorite. Tie a string to the ceiling and place a donut on the bottom. Hang around 5 donuts at a time and see who can finish first!

• Pinata. Who doesn’t love a pinata. Fill it with Halloween candy and let the party goers take a whack at it!

• Bobbing for Apples.
