I had to go to Seattle this week for work and it’s a LOOOOOOONG trip from Cleveland with no direct flights. It became even longer when my first flight was delayed so I missed my connection after sprinting almost a mile to the gate just to find out they had already closed the doors and gave my seat away…..ugh!

When I was packing the night before I left, I almost packed a big suitcase to check and boy am I glad I didn’t. I always get nervous that my bags might get lost with connections, so I decided to pack in a smaller suitcase to carry it on the flight. At least this way it would be there when I got there. Since I missed the connection, my bag never would have made it and I would have had absolutely no clothes to wear to present in front of a large group of people at work the next day. Where can you buy business clothes at 7:00 a.m.?!?!

The only down side to not checking my bag is that I have to limit the liquids I can pack and all of my favorite products don’t come in travel sizes. I was going to pack my nice, new, expensive anti-aging night cream, but then I figured I would be absolutely sick if they threw it away at security, so I decided to leave it at home and just use my daytime lotion at night.

As the travel delays went on and I looked in the mirror as I washed my hands during my long layover, I saw the old lady version of myself staring back at me……..tired, drained and just simply exhausted. It was probably just my imagination, but I felt as if though I had dark circles and wrinkles appear out of nowhere in a matter of hours. I wondered what I would look like the next day as I was up in front of the room presenting after only a couple hours of sleep……..YIKES!

I still had a long night ahead as I finally boarded my last flight and pulled out my COSMO magazine. I knew it would make me smile after a long day. As I was flipping through the pages, I came across and advertisement and a sample packet of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Skin Therapy Formula and ripped it out of the magazine and put it in my purse. Six hours later when I got to the hotel and washed my face, I decided to give it a try, not knowing what the results would be. It could have made my entire face break out, but at this point I really had no other options so I gave it a try and went to bed.

When I woke up the next morning after only three hours of sleep, I could not believe my eyes! The old lady face was gone and I had no sign of wrinkles, dark circles, etc. I wish I had a few more packets of this magic potion to last me through my trip.

I took the red eye home last night and have still not fully recovered, but you better believe I am going to hit the drug store tomorrow in search of this fountain of youth. I am all about anti-aging creams, lotions and gels, but this one pulled me through the roughest of the rough travel days and it certainly gained my trust. This will be purchased quickly, and just to think that it will not cost a fortune either since it’s a drug store product.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Skin Therapy Formula for your face does just what it says on the package. It visibly rejuvenates, helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots, evens skin tone and aging skin. It actually has Retinol, Viatmin-C, and Cetesomate-E Complex. Not sure what all that means but I know I love Retinol. It’s paraben and phithalate free, too!

What is your favorite product to fight the “old lady face?”
