THE FLATS ARE BACK! We had the best date night Downtown Cleveland in the Flats. It was so nostalgic to be down there an see the boats out and people everywhere, however, everything is new. The only place that survived is Shooters.
Our first stop was Alley Cat Oyster Bar!
I got the 5-piece shrimp cocktail and it was delicious!
But not as delicious as my mother-in-law’s peel and eat shrimp. The texture and sauce was flavored perfectly!
My father-in-law liked his breaded oysters.
My husband got some oysters as well. I had one and it was really good, but I am not overly enthusiastic about eating oysters.
We all had some of the lobster roll and loved it! That is definitely a huge hit!
The view from Alley Cat is awesome and it was so great to see lively groups of people populating the flats and having a good time.
Across the river, Shooters was pretty busy, too!
The boats coming through here were so fun to watch!
Especially the new BrewBoat CLE – paddle, drink new http://www.cleveland.com/drinks/index.ssf/2016/01/brewboat_cle_paddle_drink_5_th.html
Costal Taco was our favorite stop! It is right on the water and it is definitely a hot spot.
I loved my margarita because they don’t put a bunch of sugary mixes in it. It was very refreshing without being too sweet.
This place was packed! There were white Adirondack chairs with navy blue blankets (very nautical) to sit, relax, and enjoy the sunset on the water as you have a cocktail.
Lots of bowling, food, drinks, and fun here! More of a winter place since most people want to be outside on a patio or deck during the summer, but still a very fun place.
Check out this staircase! Hilarious!
More awesome pics from a gorgeous evening!
