Have you tried Birchbox? It’s a monthly, mail-order beauty subscription service: you sign up, and each month you get a box with five customized health and beauty sample-size products. I subscribed for a couple of years and loved it, but I could never justify buying full-size versions of the products I sampled because of the high price points.
Enter two of my favorite retailers: Target and Walmart. I make weekly visits to both, as I’m sure many of you do, because of their affordability. Imagine my delight when I discovered that both offer their OWN subscription-based beauty boxes!
I’ve been receiving both for about six months now. Target is monthly and sometimes offers more than one option (some months they offer a men’s box, too). I’ve fallen in love with many of the products I’ve received and have discovered new brands that Target carries. Also, full-size versions won’t break the bank! Walmart is quarterly (by season) and tends to offer more “drug store” type brands (Maybelline, Cover Girl, etc.) but you sometimes get full-size versions and you get a LOT in each box!
